I’m currently attending the 9th International Freiberg Conference on IGCC & XtL Technologies – Closing the Carbon Cycle, which takes place in Berlin.
Over the years the International Freiberg Conference on IGCC & XtL Technologies has grown into a sizeable and very well-organized event that brings together the integrated gasification combined cycle and synthetic fuels community. With 150 presentations and keynote speeches, it is often difficult to decide which of the presentations held in parallel tracks to attend.
Especially due to the unique and high-quality slag data available for FactSage, ChemApp, and SimuSage, it’s no wonder that you hear our software and data being mentioned very frequently.
And for those who don’t know much about our tools yet, I just gave a presentation titled “Thermochemical software tools for research and practice: FactSage, ChemApp and SimuSage”. I was very happy about the immediate positive feedback, and the subsequent interesting questions and discussions about possible applications of our tools. The discussions with participants from academia and industry also revealed a strong interest in our current activities in the area of viscosity modeling.
As it was just announced, the 10th International Freiberg Conference will be held in June 2020 in Shanghai, I’m sure GTT-Technologies will participate again. See you in Shanghai!
