A quick look back: Users’ Meeting 2025
The 2025 Users’ Meeting was a great success. The combination of presentations and live demonstrations, along with the discussions in between, made for a particularly successful event. Here’s what our participants said:
“The demonstrations are appreciated too! If you have a slot, you can subscribe me for next year already!”
“The demo sessions were highly valuable and engaging.”
“It felt like a more professional broadcast than last year. The role-play style demo was so cool.”
“The venue was fantastic, and the bar has been set very high.”

WHAT TO EXPECT
We’re currently putting the program together. You can look forward to:
- Contributions from both industry and academia on:
- process and constraint modeling
- thermodynamics and kinetics
- practical applications and workflows
- Live demos will again play a central role
- Time for interesting discussion, not just presentations
- Hybrid participation:
- Presentations and demo sessions will be accessible online.
- The full programme, including interactive sessions such as the ‘Bring Your Own Problem’ format, will be available on site.
More details, including a preliminary list of speakers and registration information, will follow soon. For an impression of the format, see the 2025 program.
CALL FOR SPEAKERS
We are now opening the call for speakers.
We are looking for short conference-style presentations (typically around 15 minutes plus discussion) and demo sessions, similar in format to previous years.
If you are working with our tools, developing models, or applying thermodynamic methods in practice, we’d be very interested to hear from you!
Typical contributions:
- Case studies, industrial or research applications
- Modeling approaches, workflows, and use of FactSage, ChemApp for Python, or related tools
- New ideas, novel applications, challenges, or lessons learned from your field

Submit your contribution
Please provide a short description of your idea. A few sentences are sufficient.
WHAT COMES NEXT
In the coming weeks, We’ll share:
- first speakers,
- a preliminary program,
- and registration details.
